Dear Toshiba Partners, In light of recent developments regarding battery overheating issues in Dell laptop computers, Toshiba issues the following statement: “ The design of the battery packs supplied to us by Sony differs from those that were supplied to Dell and cited in Dell’s recall. The system design of Toshiba notebook PCs also differs from that of Dell’s. We have found no indication that the problem reported by Dell in its recall applies to Toshiba notebook PCs.
